A Wish to make no Wish is a Wish for Death

A man is talked to by a spirit :

-I shall grant you a wish. Tell it.

-Desire is futile.

-Very well. Desire is now futile.

-No! Wait!

But the spirit, not listening, disapears.

The man is shamed by both the realisation desire was not truly futile if it is now and the realization is wish to make no wish affected against their will not only him but every conscious being, so he goes on a quest to right is wrongs, find a way, anyway, to reverse this change in the laws of the Existence. But his desire was futile. Then he died.
